Make Money Online With RichJerk

By blog for profit

I had wanted to get onboard the internet millionaire phenomenon for a number of years. Newspaper and magazine article showed me the newest kid on the block, with there fantastically simple, web based idea that had made them rich. People with no previous internet experience, guys setting up businesses in their garage, girls videoing themselves applying make-up and then selling their own range, people making a fortune reselling their junk online! I’m fairly intelligent, have basic computer skills, have a good work ethic – so why was it not me being featured on the front cover.

I had read marketing magazines, scoured the internet for ways to get rich quick, been to seminars, watched videos, listened to tapes, joined social network groups, followed blogs –all to increase my knowledge of how to make money online.

There was only one problem – each piece of new information I found only led to more questions and highlighted more gaps in my knowledgebase. So I continued with my search.......

That was my biggest problem. I needed to stop. Focus on one of the programs and TAKE ACTION!

There was no point reading about how to make money online if I did not even have a blog or website. People can’t buy your product if you don’t have an online presence. There is no point in learning about search engine optimisation if you don’t have a website for search engines to rank. Traffic numbers are irrelevant without a site for people to visit.

I wasn’t making any money from the internet. I wasn’t getting rich. I wouldn’t become a millionaire, because I wasn’t online. Then I came across an ebook which changed my mindset. It inspired me to DO something. I started a blog, got online, and eventually began to make money.

A Review Of The RichJerk Ebook

The program that motivated me to get online was an ebook called RichJerk. The style of writing was obnoxious, rude and insulting. The author would instil emotional responses from his reader by writing lines like – "You are extremely ugly. So am I, but I'm also rich. Click here to find out how to become rich too". I was quickly hooked. It was as if I was trying to prove myself. I needed to prove that I could get rich too.

The Richjerk explains how to create or find information products, how to create a website/blog to promote these products, how to gain favour with the search engines like google to rank highly to gain more customers. All simple stuff that I had read elsewhere but packaged in a unique way which actually made me do something. His style may not be conventional but it worked.

I did not find all the chapters in the ebook relevant to my aim. This is not some blind promotion of the richjerk.

The Chapters that I found most helpful were:-

Chapter one is all about 6 strategies to hook your customer, write a compelling sales letter, and create a website that makes readers spend their cash.

Chapter two covers creating another cash stream on your website from adverts. The main example is google adsense, and how to get your advertising revenue from Pay Per Click (PPC).

Chapter three is all about getting your page noticed by the search engines like google and yahoo. The higher your page ranks on a search the more traffic will come to your site and ultimately buy your products. Great general advice is a little spoiled by some dodgy optimisation strategies. Let your own conscience guide you. I picked out the methods I was happiest with using.

Chapter four is a great guide to creating your own information products and getting other people to market them for you with you skimming off the profits. I am currently working on this as I see it being the greatest method of getting rich.

Chapter six is for those of us that don’t want to start creating our own information products –yet. I explains how to affiliate market, that is sell other peoples products on your site or blog and earn a commission from each person who buys using your link. Fantastic introduction to Clickbank.

Chapter eight is a technical edge to 4 and 6, providing good clear instruction for placing code and all the complicated computer stuff you’ll need in a simple to understand way.

Chapter 9 lists the resources you’ll need but you are of course free to shop around for cheaper and free materials online. The Richjerk makes his real money from these affiliate links and even offers a free ready made website for you to get started, his payback being the monthly hosting fees. I personally used the completely free Google Blogger site and paid no monthly fees.

I did not really get into chapter five on using ebay to generate wealth. Its just not what i’m looking for at the moment – but never say never.

I found chapter seven a little confusing and irrelevant. It is about investing but I am still trying to discover my profit, not quite at the stage for reinvesting my newly found wealth.

Did I make money online with RichJerk ? - the simply answer is YES. Not enough to retire on. Not enough to buy my dream beach house, but I am getting there, one blog and one click at a time.

My Dream Beach House
